A Little About What We Do Here

Laurion care Supported Living Services offers a wrap around service which includes  accommodation, care and support for young people between 16-25 years of age who have mild to moderate learning disabilities and are in need of assistance to make the transition towards independent living. We work closely with  social workers, healthcare professionals, carers and young people to ensure the right care plan is put in place to provide them with the best possible outcomes.

From daily living skills such as preparation of meals, attending education and work placements, to therapeutic care and support. At Laurion Care, we aim to help young people build and develop on their social and personal skills helping them to gain the confidence and knowledge needed to go on and live independently within the community.

We work in partnership with local authorities, carers, parents and young people to put a care plan in place which will benefit and assist the young person during their stay with us

Accommodation

We provide a full accommodation service which is set within a modern styled home in a warm and friendly environment.

Referral

We accept referrals form local authorities, parent's and carers. This includes emergency referrals and planned placements.

Our Founder and the Team

Daphne has a BA Hons in Early Childhood studies with demonstrated history of working in the education sector. Skilled in Early Childhood Development, Special educational Needs, and Pro-social Behaviour, she has experience in caring for young people with special needs. She has also worked abroad for a few years where she acquired invaluable experience in working with young people from different cultures and backgrounds.

In addition to Daphne’s experience, Laurion Care have a highly skilled and dedicated staff team who have a combined experience of over 10 years between them.
